This 2 image composite of the Super Moonset at Scripps Pier was photographed in November, 2016 in the wee hours of the morning. Several days in advance Aaron had done his research an concluded that the Super Moon would in fact be lining up directly under the Scripps Pier.  Aaron was was prepared for the mega tide and found higher ground well in advance to capture this rare never before seen view of the Super Moon setting at the end of the Scripps Pier.
